Pamphlet on prostitution

In the light of the Carpenter Government’s proposal to liberalise laws governing prostitution in Western Australia, Life Ministries has decided to reprint Andrew Lansdown’s pamphlet, “A biblical perspective on prostitution”. This is a companion to Andrew’s pamphlet, “Prostitution and social justice”, which was distributed with the last issue of Life News. Our desire is not only to encourage Christians to oppose the government’s legislation but also to equip them with sound understandings and arguments on the issue itself.

As its title suggests, this pamphlet focuses on the teachings of the Bible concerning prostitution. While it is especially suited to Christian readers, non-Christians who want to understand the biblical/Christian teaching on prostitution will also find it helpful.

(The pamphlet “Prostitution and social justice” explains the widespread harm that prostitution causes in the community and is suitable for Christian and non-Christian readers alike.)

Please read the copy of “A biblical perspective on prostitution” that is included with this issue of Life News and share the information it contains with others.

Additional copies of “A biblical perspective on prostitution” (and of “Prostitution and social justice”) are available from Life Ministries for A $28.00 per 100 or A $175 per 1000, GST and postage included within WA. Write to Life Ministries at Suite 4, 334 Wanneroo Road, Nollamara, WA 6061. Or phone or fax Life Ministries on (08) 9344 7396 .
